3. A measure used for representing the quat of a specified object. The measure for quat is derived from a formula where
d = mass of dirt on specified object (g)
m= mass of specified object (g)
s = average shade of grey *

qT = 20 *(1 - d/m) + 17 *[1-(1-a/256)]

The preceding formula renders a minimum quat of zero. Quat may never exceed 37 qT, also known as absolute quat.
